This project involved the design and construction of a new gorilla exhibit at the Santa Barbara Zoo, focused on creating naturalistic habitats that support animal welfare while enhancing the visitor experience. Working closely with architects and zoologists, the scope included integrated landscape and hardscape improvements, custom habitat features, and sustainable planting designed to reflect the gorilla’s natural environment.
