Midland School
Project: Midland School
Los Olivos, California
Client: Midland School
Architect: Blackbird Architects
The project delivered comprehensive site development and infrastructure improvements to support a student housing campus, including 50,000 square feet of grading and utility installation for 12 prefabricated cabin residences. Work included construction of concrete foundations and pads, installation of an underground stormwater management system with infiltration drywells, and development of site stairs, pedestrian pathways, and courtyard spaces designed to promote student gathering and circulation. A complementary scope involved the demolition of existing structures and the construction of three new restroom facilities. These facilities were outfitted with solar-powered water heating systems and included toilet and shower rooms, laundry facilities, and integrated trash enclosures. All site and building elements were coordinated to ensure functionality, sustainability, and long-term durability in a campus environment.
