Dignity Moves (Hope Village)

Project: Dignity Moves (Hope Village)
Santa Maria, California
Client: Dignity Moves
Architect: Gensler

This project consisted of the construction of a 94-unit modular housing community on a 2- acre site in Santa Barbara County. As the general contractor, the team coordinated prefabricated modular units with site-built foundations, utilities, mechanical, and electrical systems while navigating permitting, ongoing design development, and a compressed schedule. Through consistent coordination meetings and close collaboration with the design team and subcontractors, the project was delivered on time and at a significantly reduced cost per unit compared to traditional construction methods. This project received the 2025 Santa Barbara Contractors Association New Commercial Construction Award for excellence in construction.
