Food Bank Warehouse TI's and Sitework

Here is some of the project information. It includes, but is not limited to:

Building upgrades and Tenant Improvements to existing 57,600 s.f. warehouse including office and restroom additions and upgrades, new sorting area, added Cooler, Freezer and scales, Structural, Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical upgrades. Exterior work includes enclosing the loading dock and new dock levelers, new overhead doors, new trellis. Sitework includes trash/recycling enclosure, back-up Generator, site walls, courtyard hardscaping and landscaping, fencing and gates, parking lot improvements and site lighting.

NOTE: DUE TO THE CITY OF GOLETA’S PLANNING APPROVAL PROCESS, THEY REQUIRED THAT THE PROJECT BE SEPERATED INTO 5 SEPERATE PERMITS. THIS BID SET COMBINES ALL OF THE 5 PERMITS TO CREATE A SINGLE PROJECT TO BID. THE 5 PLAN SETS THAT ARE COMBINED ARE: PLN (SITEWORK), EXT (BUILDING EXTERIOR) WTI (WEST WAREHOUSE TENANT IMPROVERMENTS), ETI (EAST TENANT IMPROVEMENTS) and ELD (EAST LOADING DOCK). PLEASE REFER TO THE FRONT PAGE OF THE BID SET "BID PACKAGE DRAWING RELEASE RECORD" AS REFERNCE TO THE DIFFERNT DRAWING SETS.

THE ARCHITECT HAS  COMBINED THE DRAWINGS INTO A SINGLE BID SET SO IT CAN BE BID  AS A SINGLE PROJECT. THIS WAS DONE BY ADDING NOTES AND REFERENCING DIFFERENT PLAN PACKAGES ON THE SHEETS. THERE IS SOME DUPLICATION OF INFORMATION ON THE DIFFERENT PLAN SET SHEETS BUT IT IS OUR INTENT TO BID THIS AS A SINGLE, COMPLETE PROJECT WHICH INCLUDES COMBINING THE WORK SHOWN ON ALL OF THE 5 DRAWING SETS.

Congregation B'nai B'rith (CBB) Renovation

This is a full campus renovation that consists of the demolition and reconstruction of the Center for Jewish Learning (CJL) Building including adding a new elevator for this building, an addition and renovation of the Sanctuary Building, additions to the Rooftop Photo Voltaic System, a new Playground & Courtyard and a new Parking Lot with new sitework, hardscape and landscape / irrigation.  Please refer to the Bid instructions for more information.  The Preschool will be fully operational during construction activity.  Safety of our crews and the staff/children will be very important! They are requesting the bids to be broken out via the following:

The Upper Yard Restroom is a 2,220 GSF single level structure with three separate sink/shower/toilet areas, a common laundry room and a single-occupant restroom.  The project replaces four existing restrooms and removes three existing cabins.  A separate 163 GSF shed and site retaining walls are also part of the project.

Wildlife Care Network

The scope of this project is to construct a new 4850sf Wildlife Care Facility, obtain permits for an unpermitted 712sf Racoon Habitat Structure and relocate some existing sheds. 

Included in the demolition will be temporary trailers, sheds, site lighting, and underground utilities.  This new facility will consist of offices, treatment areas, lockers / restrooms, support spaces and storage areas.  Site improvements include upgraded utilities, modifications to parking, new walkways, permeable paved areas, and modifications to landscaping.  Repainting of the new and some existing buildings are part of the project scope.

SBWCN will remain in operation during construction so project phasing will be taking place.
