Superintendent
Wayne Motyer
The newest addition to the Frank Schipper Construction Co. team of Superintendents is Wayne Motyer who has worked for FSCC since 1999. Wayne has been in the construction industry since 1983. He learned the tricks of the trade through ³on the job training² as Wayne says. For the nine years that he lived in New Zealand, Wayne operated his own construction company building small houses. His specialty is finish carpentry although he also enjoys the challenge of supervising. The most recent project that Wayne ran was the remodel and recreation of the bowling alley formerly known as Goleta Bowl into an outstanding new business called Zodo's Bowling and Beyond. It was a challenging project with over twenty subcontractors, however, Wayne met the challenge head on as he has done with all the projects he has supervised since. Wayne has also supervised projects such as Villa Rose and YMCA in Lompoc. Wayne is a down-to-earth, easygoing, family man. He and his wife Donna have four children, Emma, Daniel, Sarah and Jake. Wayne is active in his children's football and basketball clubs and he also stays busy gardening, camping and off road motorcycle riding. Wayne believes in living life to the fullest each day. His ultimate goal is to pay off his mortgage early, travel and enjoy the good life! But for now he is content working for Skip and enjoying the view from Santa Barbara. |

"I
really enjoy both the challenges and the variety that the construction
industry offers. I also like being part of a team and interacting
with all the various people that it takes to complete a successful
project."
