Shelley joined FSCC in 2006 with a distinguished record of accomplishment in financial, accounting, and project management in project oriented industries. Shelley is a seasoned financial and accounting professional with over 40 years of experience in construction, real estate, film production, management consulting, and public accounting.

Shelley practiced as a CPA licensed in California, New York, and Massachusetts. After receiving his MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration he was recruited by a national real estate consulting CPA firm to join their Los Angeles management consulting group. Subsequently he held financial management positions as a senior financial analyst for Kaufman and Broad Homebuilders, controller for a major publicly traded REIT, studio controller for Columbia Pictures, production controller for numerous film and TV productions, and V.P. of production control for a major film producer.

After leaving private industry, Shelley gained entrepreneurial experience as a licensed Cabinet, Millwork and Finish Carpentry Contractor, owning and operating a WIC certified business for five years.

Shelley’s additional accomplishments include having taught Managerial Accounting at USC and Loyola Marymount University, qualifying his company as a Woodworking Institute of CA certified vendor, and receiving numerous film and TV production credits.

Shelley lives in Channel Islands Harbor where he enjoys his love of the ocean, reading, and travel. He looks forward to developing his woodworking skills, and is presently scheming how to put together an alpaca farming venture.
